Demonstration Projects

in the

Greater Charlotte Harbor Watershed

Each year, the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program funds technical and educational projects at local schools, municipalities, agencies, and non-profit centers.  The project ideas are submitted by the local organizations and are selected on a competitive basis and used in papers with apa format for personal statement in order to fit projects. Each project is designed to provide immediate benefits to the watersheds natural resources, to enhance our technical knowledge, and to improve community awareness.   Projects are required to be completed in one year or less. Many projects are sponsored by additional organizations with time, dollars, equipment, and volunteers.   For more information about these projects or for an application for project funding, please contact the Program Office at 941/995-1777.
